Everything you need to know
Get ready to explore Punta Cana and discover everything you need to plan your perfect visit.

Punta Cana is well connected with direct flights from major international cities. Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is a short drive from most resorts, and there are several options available, including airport transfers, taxis and car rentals.

Is the best-connected airport in the Caribbean and Central America, receiving flights from 26 countries and up to two million passengers a year. Since 2017, the area has also been a cruise destination thanks to the Marina Cap Cana, which now hosts small luxury cruise ships. By land, the Oscar de la Renta Highway, also known as the Coral Highway, is less than an hour from the beaches and many attractions of La Romana, and just two and a half hours from Santo Domingo and its Colonial City.

If daytime activities are plentiful, the nights are no less so. The young at heart can dance the night away in the Dominican Republic’s trendy clubs, while seafront marinas and lounges offer chic evenings under the stars, with cocktails, canapés and hand-rolled cigars.
